It is the third community run simulator in Australia, with one in Melbourne and another in Western Australia.
Mr Maggio said the simulator was funded by reserves held be the centre, which is one of a handful of council-owned and operated pools to deliver a surplus.
“It’s fun, frantic, cool, sick and safe,” he said.
“It’s for kids from seven to 70.”
